i am first and foremost a mother to three wonderful children and a wife to a man who has been my best friend as long as i can remember. we grew up together in a small town in central florida and are so blessed to once again now call this small town home.
i love my family –no words or pictures can really express the love i share for them. we are a Marine family that follows the Lord, striving to live an abundant life in whatever circumstance we are in. living the military life of “today’s world”, means we are far too familiar with goodbyes, and we know without a doubt the importance of cherishing every moment we have together. my husband and i pray we will teach our children to love others more than themselves and that they will grow to become compassionate and happy people.
i’ve had a passion for photography for as long as i can remember. until recently, we have always lived away from our family; and our friends come and go (due to military moves). i cherish the pictures we have and the memories they tell. we have been blessed with an amazing family and some of the most special and unique friendships. in 2004, we had our first daughter …now, eight years later with a house of three children, and a husband who is deployed quite often, i long to capture all of the many events and feelings we experience from day to day.
some other things about me: i shoot nikon. i homeschool our three children. i love to craft. i love to run-though i don’t do it enough these days. i love to bake with my kids. i love being outside-especially by the water. i love music. i love golden hour and sun flare and am always in search of that “perfect light”. i worry too much and struggle with perfectionism. i love hearing my children’s giggles. i am a homebody and most of the time you’ll find me in a t-shirt and running shorts- if not my pjs. i detest goodbyes. i love being a mom and wish time could just slow down . AND most of all, i love the Lord, and realize i have been blessed in immeasurable ways!
photography is about so much more than that perfect pose with everyone looking perfectly into the camera. it’s about capturing our life. it’s about being able to tell a story tomorrow of the memories we are making today. it’s about capturing the feelings and moments that i never want to forget. its about all the details and even imperfections of our children and of our family, and cherishing them for the love and joy they bring us. my hope is to also share this gift with you, because we all know that days turn in to years in the blink of an eye.
thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to know a little about my world.
blessings, ginger

I’m interested & curious to know your pricing for a session with a 3 & 1 yr old. I would be interested in the disc of images. Also, what is your scheduling like?
Thanks!
Jennifer
Hi Ginger,
I ran across your site tonight…your images are beautiful. Just wanted to tell you.
Much love,
Julie
Thank you Julie for such kind words. Means a lot to me!!!
Thanks so much for sharing your memories in the making. You capture moments amazingly well. Beautifully simple. I remember you and Cesar from high school and my mother worked for Cesar’s dad for many years. I always thought you were the prettiest girl and it is just way cool to see the people you remember from years ago grown, married, with kids, etc and living life to the fullest. I Look forward to many more pics. Would love to have you do a photo shoot someday for my family. I completely agree with your statement that time just needs to slow way down.
Be blessed,
Jennifer
Thank you for such a wonderful letter. It means so much to me when people take the time to comment. I am so humbled by the lovely note you wrote. I hope one day I will get a chance to capture your family as well. Blessings to you and your family!!
I was drawn to your photo which was highlighted on “Clickin Moms”. What I love is your pictures don’t seem to be structured. You capture images “as they happen”. They don’t seem to be staged which I don’t particularly care for. I also love the soft filtered look of your photos. They are so wonderful! I haven’t ventured into people photography but have a great appreciation for people who do it and do it well!
Liz, thank you for this wonderful note. I strive to capture the authenticity of our life while demonstrating the beauty I see in any part of our day. I appreciate the beautiful words you shared!
Hi Ginger! You are such an inspiration! I just love the eye you have and the beautiful natural look of your photos! It doesn’t hurt that your children are too die for adorable too!
